In November of last year 2024, the Sudan Social Development Organization (SUDO) conducted an intensive training course targeting community actors from various parts of the state, with each state represented by two participants (a young man and a young woman). This initiative reflects SUDO’s commitment to youth engagement and enhancing their role in local development.

-Training of Trainers (TOT) in Organizations:
This segment focused on equipping participants with effective training skills, covering everything from designing and delivering training sessions to facilitation techniques and engaging learners. The course also emphasized evaluation and improvement of trainer performance, integrating modern training tools and methodologies to ensure knowledge transfer in innovative and inspiring ways.

Advocacy Training:
This training introduced advocacy as a tool for social and political change, guiding participants on how to identify pressing community issues, design effective advocacy strategies, build alliances, and influence public policies. Practical exercises covered planning advocacy campaigns, engaging with decision-makers, and utilizing media to amplify community messages.

Through these trainings, SUDO aims to empower young people to become proactive leaders in their communities, equipped with the necessary tools and skills to drive sustainable positive impact.
